Feminism isn't about centering women
Legally laws more considerate of woman (what some might term feminist laws) are necessary to protect woman and non-binary who are statistically more a risk for violence in most-all realms.
Please forgive my inability to speak in absolutes.
Regardless, feminism is not about centering woman; it is about centering children, some who grow up to be men, and some who grow up to be women; while others grow up to be more beautiful, existing on the spectrum in-between.
This is science, this is biology; you want to be mad, get mad at God who made it possible.
Because men have not been able / willing to protect women en masse woman have had to take on mantel's of paternalism to protect themselves, subverting their own identities in the process.
While men's abandonment of their responsbility to protect women and children is a subversion of our identity.
Identity politics has been the result; any, even less than credible, association to an identity (think Elizabeth Warren calling herself Native American) is argued into absolution for any wrong-doing that might have ever been done; and catalyst #1 to move-on from any such conversations.
Which is how we get people like Amy Kkklobuchar, and Kamala "Voting Rights Isn't Important Right Now" Harris.
The blacker the berry

Blackness is a product of connection, whiteness is a product of disconnection.
I'm not talking about race.

Latinidad is spicy white supremacy

Though honestly ... walk through any major Latin American city, and take note of who is on the billboards and advertisments.
Sure, everyone has a cousin, or an uncle, or a friend who is dark brown ... but yea ... us real brownies never really get opportunities unless we're securely leashed.
Is what it is, but let's not act like we aren't all susceptible to the malady; it's culturally pushed on us from all sides, it's no wonder that we would eventually internalize it.
Maturity requires us to acknowledge this information, and use it to build a better world, a more inclusive world.
Because diversity breeds innovation; real diversity, which is why all people deserve food, shelter and safety enough to contribute without having to jump through obscene and foolish hoops.
Colorism is at the core of it all ... that's the spine of the biases that plague us.
Sitting right atop, and founded upon, gender discrimination.
Which as we alluded to earlier, feminism has flipped on it's head firmly convinced that women are right no matter what, because intention always trumps outcome and impact.
Put it all together at you get a white latina telling a democratic audience that a white man is the BLM candidate, while running against Black woman, who also happens to be a well-regarded lawyer.
And we're left only wondering why she has such grand cultural insight, enough to say such a thing ...
Eventually that same individual, the first Latina city council woman of the city, would make the news for crashing into a poll while driving drunk.
Which is to say, these things come back to hurt us; that's why we talk about these things, and help others before the hurt becomes more than anyone should have to bear.
Ignoring them only hurts us all, and hurts more.
On that note ... Latinx does not mean indigenous.
Folks really gotta let that word go too ...
When Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that he probably had a little Black in his genetic ancestry, that wasn't a throw-away comment, it was a dismissal of the Black experience, which was entirely different than anything he can relate to.
Only through that level of humility and self-awareness can we ever hope to begin to relate to experience so different than our own.
The complications are much deeper than arguments in which these words are being leveraged.
Music is magic
Speaking of hurt, let's talk about healing!
Hum to yourself, sing to yourself, dance alone, for your self.
These actions are healing.
Skill is the last thing that matters in this regard;
Moving with joy and gratitude is what matters the most.
