Rear View Mirror #1

2 min read
This is more of a digest post, as I've made some updates and written a few other things recently.

Earlier this year, when I visited Colombia, my return flight was overbooked, and I was bumped.

A consequence is that I got an $800 voucher for a future purchase; which is likely enough to pay for additional luggage space.

So that's the focus, preparing to leave the US for the last time.

Not to say that I won't be back; but, it's an adventurer's life for me here on out.

Colombian taxes encourage me to only spend six months of the year in the country. There may be some exceptions or caveats, though I'm going to play it safe for this first year.

Though more about this later ...

I've made a few updates, and wrote a bit more, just posting two pieces right here; while boosting a third 😛

Updates

The menu for DreamFreely is finalized, while the tagging system is working; and notice how the redirect is working.

The tagging system enables me to create pages for #projects, or these #emails; as well as any #literature that I might want to have easily accessible 😄

While I've also started creating basic explainer pages for foundation concepts, and individual projects. Not all are complete by any means, but placeholders exist, and some just need the ol' copy/paste treatment.

The Lemonade Stand is a good example of the direction.

The Lemonade Stand
Keep it silly simple; though this is only the beginning.

I finally start putting the pieces together.

The NatGeo Dec 1988 issue is where it all began.

Raices Mhuysca
Eventually this story needed to be told.

Coming to a place where I can hold space for my own identity and individuality has been the most challenging and rewarding part of this life.

I finally at a place where I can feel comfortable talking about the journey.

And so it begins.

The Tears of Balore

I like this story; I've considered the entire world, am able to pull from such a variety of inspirations.

This is the beginning of a short story perhaps; I hope to return to it all soon.

The Tears of Balore
This is an old story ... but also a new story. This is what happened, 2000 years after the first story; on a world much like our own, and yet not…

We'll keep it short and sweet; I hope y'all are doing alright.

Thanks for readin'
