We start simple.

A tongue-twister; on it's face, a game, maybe even a childish one.

Also, a tool for learning a new language.

The Design

WhatsApp messages, text, voice and video, in succession; with translation.

Five day a week; well, tongue twisters three days per week, and other exercise on Tuesday and Thursday.

That's it.

Publishing videos on TikTok and Instagram, with monthly subscription available for those who want direct feedback.

The Science

The brain uses five mechanisms when speaking; we leverage each mechanism, in due time, to fortify language learning and build tangible confidence in non-native speakers.

Though to start we folks on what is otherwise a nonsense phrase, in an attempt to bypass the parts of the brain design to make-meaning. Our focus is on pronunciation and muscle memory required to clearly speak English accurately.

The Classes

The real pull is to get people to take classes, in groups of three.

This way it is less cost for others, and perhaps maximum benefit. The small group dynamic compounds the focus on pronunciation by enabling folks sufficient time to both speak, and learn from the speech patterns of others. Classes are 30 minutes.

And in this way, "deliver maximum value."

While the class structure is very straight-forward.

Spend the first 5 to 8 minutes practicing numbers, dates, currency and a tongue twister. Then spend the rest of the time reading an article.

The student reads a paragraph, the instructor corrects any mispronunciations and asks if there are questions on any words. Then the instructor reads the paragraph.

This is repeated for the next two students, after which the first student begins again; and the cycle repeats.

The Outcome

For the tongue twisters, the outcome is improve confidence in the sounds required to speak English clearly.

For the classes, the outcome is an enhanced version of the aforementioned process. By being able to hear how others speak, one's own speaking errors can be seen more clearly; as can the ways to improve.

This is the real value of classes.
