DSv11: Back to work

Slowly letting the content creation systems get built ... step by step

A few things are on my mind, what's happening on social media?

What's the chasm between social and what's happening in real life?

But social media is still fascinating mess!

Y'all hear about the d4vd kid?

Twenty-year old, made a sacrificial killing of a young girl; this dude was basically supposed to be the next industry plant ~ legit.

Anyone remember that Teezy Touchdown, or whatever (it's Teezo) ... think of this d4vd kid as the evolution of that.

Which really just emphasis' two things to me; first how race is leveraged to create entertainment puppets, and secondly, just how crazy some people who maintain social veneers can be – and these people be gettin' paid by other crazy people who just keep it more under wraps.

(One of the artists this guy d4vd worked with is Kali Uchis, who is from Colombia. She came up through Tyler the Creator; ergo my peripheral interest in this story. Though regardless, it is just interesting to see how things are intertwined the higher you go ...)

Like ... damn ... ok, I guess this is life.

I've actually done some more writing!

Why Minnesota?
It is an excellent question ... why was I adopted there? Why do I continue to put my nose into the community business? Why did I stick around for so long? I think a lot of it has to do with safety ... to be honest, while I did get a world-class

Which begets the question of why did I leave Minnesota?

Which I'll get to in a moment, I suspect.

The Colombian President had his US Visa revoked ... curious turn of events.

The need to manufacture reality is becoming more evident, day by day ... instead of accepting reality ... which is a curious dilemma to me ... why one would think they were able to manufacture reality.

And now this ?!?

One would be better invested in pursuits such as bottling the infinite, or out-pacing the eternal.

Though it is our duty to think of what next? What happens after this?

The booklets are written!

Manifesting Empathy is 5 pages, and Diversity Inverted is 11 pages.

Manifesting Empathy is a structured lens through which to view our selves, and others; in demon-speak, is a way to quantify diversity, after a fashion.

Diversity Inverted explores the white, indigenous, Latinx and Black identities; illuminating obstacles with which each identity contends, respectfully.

Both are available at https://shop.dreamfreely.org.

I've also posted my music from the past 20 years, it isn't much ... but in retrospect, as "bad" as some of it might be ... it isn't entirely irrelevant; which gives me feels.

I'm actually incredibly proud of the compilations.

As well, on the YouTube page I've put up a few compilations; here's one that was unable to be publicly released until now, though we'll keep the producer a mystery.

Damn y'all ... honestly, I'm actually really proud of all of this:

Not to toot my own horn ... but ... being an orphan bastard raised by deeply broken people ... the fact that I didn't turn out a piece of shit, and instead, made music like this ... yea, I love myself – basically my favorite song ever is on this mix, Home, Someday.

I can still remember when I wrote it feeling like I'd reached a mile-marker in my life ... like ... I was going home, one way or another, and that is what made life such a blessing:

Ahh yes ... this is also nice to just have explained:

An Indigenous Orphan Bastard
Those words mean whatever meaning I put into them; Not what others put into them. Curious that no? Indigenous: I could tell a story, or say that I’m “connected” to so-and-so ... First off, look at me ... Someone in Colombia once exclaimed, “You look so Colombian!” What does that even mean?

Truly, I feel more able to be me, safely and authentically ... proudly and playfully.

That said, I am starting to hit a cash crunch I think; if you're able to subscribe at the paid level ($50USD/year); that would be amazing!

Either way, I recently had a meeting with a fantastic Minneapolis based organization about helping to build DigiFest.

Have I mentioned that yet?

OMG, so yea ... I really think I'm on to what I want to do; build a Discord Community via DigiFest events, which are online conferences five times per year.

or https://digifest.dreamfreely.org.

I'm really excited to build this – it's totally aligned with ... everything!

The rest is just world-building, creating context for why this would matter so much to me; why this work matters so much to me.

Because I honestly see it is as the best, most-direct, way to help bring about the better world that we all know is possible!

Alright that said, I might start sending these out a bit more frequently, like twice per week; with a once per week collection for LinkedIn.

The game is to start writing more often - vamos pues!
