Goodbye United States

Yesterday was the second time that someone tried to implicate me in violence.

I am angry, that is not a surprise, nor new information.

But I do not believe that anyone should be subjected to violence, just humiliation.

I was at a bar, the CC Club; and someone approached me to start talking. I recognized this person, but I'm not sure if they knew that I recognized them.

They kept on talking, we were joking around ... and I was looking for marijuana – it had been a day. Anywho ... I was told where I could find some; great – so I left, and eventually returned.

When I returned this person was still drinking ... and this person insists on buying me a drink. Then they start singing a song, and the last line ends with "matar la policia" ... kill the police.

To which I respond, "Eso!"

Immediately after that, this person leaves the bar and is calling someone on their phone; and I see that they have two phones ... curious.

Either way, I met another woman at the bar, with whom we were joking; and she says to me, "that guy is crazy."

Because apparently, when I left before, the individual in question was talking crazy.

I thanked her for letting me know, or rather confirming my concerns.

Immediately I went to the back patio of the bar, called an Uber and left.

When I got home, I took a shower, made some food and bought my plane tickets.

I'm not trying to play with this country, nor with what is happening.

And I don't have the network in the US that makes is safe for me to remain here; while I don't want to put such additional pressure on the network that I do have.

I need someone to adopt my two kittens, Diego and Delilah Von Fluffington; they do come as a package ...

Or someone to care for them until they can be brought to Colombia.

If nothing else, they will be returned to the Animal Humane Society, I guess.

They are wonderful kitties, I brought them together and they quickly became the best of friends.
