DSv17: Hello February
Hello, I hope you are well.
It is difficult see all that is happening in Minneapolis; and I have many thoughts; so many that I've finally started writing what will eventually be a book of memoirs.
So I digress, there are a few other publications I think are worth your attention, from this past week or so:

The rot within the DFL is especially odious on the local level; this woman also had a hand in denying Minneapolis Mayoral candidate Omar Fatah, the endorsement.
It is a long-read but a well composed piece to be sure!
But now for some hope-core -
This is a fantastic presentation from Cory Doctorow, in which he talks about how copyright laws were added as riders to every US Free Trade Agreement, and that it is a unique American vulnerability.
It really is an exceptional presentation, I encourage you all to watch.
Next up ... omg, apparently Colombia's election organization is trying to deny the front-runner an opportunity to run ?!? I really need to get caught up on what is happening, it doesn't seem like a treacherous impediment, just more red type being thrown by corporate powers.

There is a clear front-runner in the election, another left-leading politician; though Ivan Cepeda has history of being a better politician than the current President Petro; Petro led the charge, and Ivan will administer the change.
As this is the first time in over 40 years that Colombia has been able to exist beyond corporate/conservative rule.
As for myself, life is well; I'm narrowing down what I think I want to do ... it's the ideal but shoot for the star, or something ... digital business management for someone else.
Basically looking for enough work to keep working on DigiSnaxx; I recently came across potential "competition" ... an app called Pao; which is pretty cool admittedly.

Though it also allows me to see my own work, and my own lane, in their uniqueness; which felt really wonderful ... again, to see other folks out there doing their thing, and me still feeling wonderful in my work and my lane!
OMG, speaking of ... DigiSnaxx has maps now!
And I got the locations for most of the 230 venues listed in DigiSnaxx!
Now that almost all of the foundational work is done, I can really focus on optimizing and upgrading the code; there are some issues with the data loading.
It would be solid to decrease the loading time, and to make sure that all of the data is loading; while figuring out how to do that is the next step!
Though I've added a few more cities, and have almost 2,000 events now listed!
I'm still missing business and personal profiles; which is another next step 😺
-- Yo, honestly, this feels solid – I wanted to get something out to y'all ...
Oh yea, I posted some other videos as well
Here's the trailer for the latest long-form video:
Okie dokie ... good times, great oldies, now ya know -
Thanks for readin',
peaces,
c.
