Did Mark Zuckerberg get lucky ... or was he the right identity at the right time?

A mid-tier sexually frustrated white male at Harvard who could code.

I mean, the idea arrived rooted in desire to judge people; and we wonder why Facebook has become the vanity trashcan for extremists in all spheres?

Traction vs Pedigree: Chicken or an Egg?

I going to drop words that mean things statistically ... because especially angel investing ... is about gambling ... picking the best horse.

Ok, let's ride.

Graduated high school from a place called Orono High School, iykyk; if not, you might not be looking to send your kids to a certain schools in Minnesota. The point being, I got a classical white education; a good education, cellular biology by age 12, social sciences by 14; Johnny Tremain and Harold Bloom.

Twenty years later I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's of Individualized Studies, combining Economics, Statistics and Communications -- long story short, I needed to pick something and get done!

At the time of completion I was working for the tech department of the Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation; which basically describes DreamFreely's entrepreneurial aspirations and endeavors. Though I digress.

I was adopted from Colombia, and by all appearances people often think that I am indigenous.

The woman who bought me was a music director, and I was put on stage at the age of 5; from that point the work has been to find myself on and off stage, rather than playing into the characters others think that they need.

Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, are all degrees I explored before I decided to focus on economics and statistics; and all is fertilizer for what is being built.

Traction

When you get it, you get it ... I had folks coming up to me saying that they have the site bookmarked.

But if you hate me ... ufff ... you hate me and will talk abou it.

I was adopted; so technically I'm transracial.

Though you can sell that indigenous-shit ... that is not this.

Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology ... I found my birth family ...

Pedigree

I started working on this project nearly 20 years ago ... ScreamFreely.Org ... I still have the YouTube channel.

Then it became MnActivist.Org; and finally now, DigiSnaxx.com.

I've name dropped every name I intend; though can only be seen by those who know ... growing up in Long Lake, Wayzata, Minnetonka, and the lakes ... as a brown indigenous orphan bastard.

The mere fact that I have survived is dramatically against many statistical odds; for real.

To be forthright, you will only be reading this if Mamo gives this letter his blessing.

Because I have found my way back to the land, to love and to connection.

My genetic roots are Mhuysca, I have some connections to the Cabildo in Subaqua, Bacata.

Though I am most closely working with a Mamo from the Arhuaco.

I don't care for labels anymore either, I am who I am ... and my wish is to live my values.

The Products

idioki was first created as a personal coding challenge; it conceptually developed into a mechanism to help preserve indigenous languages.

DigiSnaxx is an economic re-circulation engine, and data mine.

Our primary and all-star content are event listings; we aggregate, providing minimal information, mostly redirection to primary sources. We're not trying to sell tickets, if you want that, look somewhere else, it's not happening here; and I'm not open for argument.

This is also a testament to how I lead; those who work with me trust me, and when there is a question, we take time to discuss ... but regarding my work, and these projects, it is taken for-granted that I know what's up from down, and usually there are things that others do not see.

That is why I work with Mamo, because he helps me remain humble in this work as well; ego is not knowledge, and knowledge balanced by the heart is what best leads.

We are a business directory, with our own maps, building outside of "big tech" as much as possible.

Technological sovereignty.

Our edge is in our coding; while the base is simply events, everything around this core content is done differently, and will continue to evolve.

And this is where the explication will cease, as after which it becomes revolutionary; while many may say that is necessary, the reality of revolution is scary, difficult, painful, and yes, necessary.

It is not to be taken lightly, and especially in Colombia, indigenous people have historically been easy targets.

What if instead of taking people's data ... surreptitiously, you just asked for it.

And instead of needing things like their address, ask for their opinion on coffee or tea? What flavor of tea? Or coffee?

What would they like to try, but have yet to? Pick two of six options.

What if people paid to give us their data?

Why would they do that?

Because we make beautiful pictures from the data, and keep everything open-source.

And none of the data is individualized; it's all based off of otherwise disposable inquires.

Social Research and data innovation.

Payment assures that the data point is unique to a single individual.

If you can't pay, there are other ways to verify an individual account; payment doesn't need to be a barrier for participation, just an accelerator; while payment also enables additional features, that verification need not include.

And in this way, we better secure our data for innovation; trust becomes the moat.

Built on open-source code, and largely open-source financing; advertising dollars will increasingly go back into the communities from which they came; and eventually a platform-wide decreasing percentage will return to DreamFreely/DigiSnaxx for overall technical maintenance and development of the core products (database and primary UX), commensurate with growth.

If you think of DreamFreely like Disney ... DigiSnaxx is the Magic Kingdom, it's the theme park.

But the Magic Kingdom isn't Disney ... Disney is a much larger enterprise than a theme park, or some daintily painted moving pictures from yesteryear.

DigiSnaxx is a featured product amidst an ecosystem of products designed to support one-another.

Human capital theory posits that there is an incentive to seek knowledgeable and productive labor, called human capital, or intellectual capital. More over, it is in the interest of a growing economy to nourish this intellectual capital through the vehicle of education.
One important critique comes from Richard Freeman who argues human capital is only capable of being a signal for talent and ability; and therefore it should not be considered as a factor of production. [6] Regardless, intellectual capital is also considered a renewable source of productivity

DreamFreely asserts Intellectual/Human Capital to be a factor of production, and seeks to lubricate and accelerate its production and possibility.

Rebel Coding uses the DigiSnaxx platform as a learning laboratory, with content directed at helping individuals quickly comprehend the core aspects of web development, in-practice.

ExoCTO provides the possibility for employment; the missing key being that DigiSnaxx encourages local businesses to own their properties, and make them inter-operable. In this way, DigiSnaxx is creating its own market for trusted technical expertise; ExoCTO provides the conduit.

Though beneath it all is the social foundation of the Manifesting Empathy and Diversity Inverted program.

At the end of the day, the mission of DigiSnaxx is to serve the community by providing easy access to what it happening in various locales; any and all personal data collected will be encrypted and detached from personalization.

By keeping it open-source, we can better provide entry-level tech jobs, that are able to provide excellent experiences.

Rebel Coding also becomes an incubator of ideas, through cohorts and directed classwork.

Trust is at the core of everything DreamFreely; you can't dream with having trust in freedom.

And this is how we begin to build trust ... because Disney has more than one theme-park, yes or no?
