An Open Letter to Chaka Mkali of Hope Community

Chaka Mkali, your bff is a rapist.

and he raped a friend of mine; but you know these things, and I'm guessing that is why instead of standing up to protect the young Black, brown and Muslim women/girls that Nick Espinosa was preying on ...

You called me crazy for raising the alarm ... and then, like a stone-cold manipulator, you tried to pass it off as a compliment by saying you'd love to sit across a table from me someday.

From the moment you said that, I had no interest in ever respecting you as a human being.

I just want those around you to see that part of you; imo, you're not a man, you're not even a boy ... you're a puppy dog with no bite ... except to protect white supremacy and white supremacists, because that's what writes your paychecks at the end of the day ... just like Ricardo Levins sin Morales.

Rather than protect young women, (honestly, what is Muja doing hanging out with women half his age? ... much less forcing them into non-consensual sexual acts? ... you have how many records with him? And apparently the community knows ... that's just how he is, right?)

Rather than protect young women in your community, you attack a brown man ... a brown orphan bastard who was a single father no less ... you call me crazy ... that's the mettle of your ethic.

Which eh ... it's your community that continues to pay the price for your allegiance to the system that enslaved your ancestors and nearly exterminated mine; and it's you who continue to lie to yourself and your community.

That's who you are Chaka ... and your wife isn't smart either (though one really shouldn't expect much from someone raised in Stillwater).

Honestly, after seeing Alondra got arrested, and Ricky got an award from the McKnight Foundation ... I'm just doing this final housecleaning before the new year.

(Alondra saying I was obsessed with her ... ufff ... like I've been saying, I saw how she treated the father of her children. She was a city council member at the time, and what we had to work with ... physically I find her unattractive, spiritually I find her putrid ... the idea that I was obsessed with her is pure white fictional fantasy.)

You're a token mouthpiece for progressive white supremacy ... which is still white supremacy.

And so are most of the "leaders" within your community, the first words I ever heard out of Maria Isa's mouth ... the first words she ever said to me,

"OMG, you're so brown."

That's the level of intellect y'all possess ... oh and Aisha Chutgia ... to think that you know me because of the rumors spread by those within your community ... just goes to show how shallow and negligent your entire community actually is ... and this makes you a detriment to your entire community.

Learn to measure the biases of those who bring rumors to your door.

Which again, the state of the US, and even the DFL ... really should come as no surprise when you realize that this is how progressive leadership chooses to act; protecting whiteness and attempting to shame non-white people who don't tow the line, at all opportunities.

I just want y'all to be able to take a good look at yourselves, and hopefully, for the sake of the future, consider the sacrifice it will take to actually be better people.

In my experience, it's actually worth it.

And please, don't think I'm jealous or any of that ... nor am I mad ... I'm actually happy and safe .. that's why I can finally say these words.

Though again, likely, you will be unable to admit your participation in what was essentially a smear campaign against me ... because racist colonial tropes are easier for y'all to digest and carry and ...

Because I'm quite literally everything you and Ricky and Nick and most others never will be ... a genuinely good person, with actual artistic talent, technical competence, a sincere charismatic zest for life ... and a backbone.

As in order to be a good person, you need to actually be able to hold yourself accountable ... though I suppose you're right ... in your world ... when a brown man actually listens to women, provides protection in a way that is comforting to, and considerate of, them and stands up for them ... you call that crazy ... to me, that's what a man does, though again, your bff is a rapist ... so we can't really expect you to know anything about being a man, can we?
